What? It's not Hollywood week yet?

*le sigh* For the first time since Season 7 began, I'm beginning to feel a little twinge of anticipation for the competition to begin. I was hoping that Hollywood week started tonight, but I should have known that they had to show just one more audition show. It's OK, though, because now I know when it's coming, and boy oh boy am I looking forward to it!

Why? Well, I think there's a pretty interesting, diverse group this year. Plus, the contestants are allowed to use instruments, which will show their diversity even more. What worries me, though, has been the complete absence of group sing shots. I think y'all know by now that my favorite part of Hollywood Week is the group sing. Nothing brings out the drama like divas being forced to sing Motown songs together. It's a beautiful thing, really.

Also, I'm adding to my list of likes--Joanna the plus model, and the dude with the really hard to pronounce name who sang Luther Vandross, and also that chick Cardin who wore a red dress and sang "One Night Only" frm Dreamgirls.

I don't think anyone made it through tonight that I truly despised. No, my fury shall be reserved for Miss South Florida Fair, or whatever her title might be.

Toodles!

Chickisie Eze!!! I love his name!! I also kind of liked the very last guy they showed tonight, just because his voice was so not what you would have expected!!!

That truly is the most awesome name, isn't it? He was really talented. I hope he goes far.

As for the very last guy, he did have a surprising voice, but I need to see more before I'm impressed.

The blonde girl that they sent out to learn a Dolly Parton song, what did she sing? We had a crisis in on the computer, Savannah forgot her Webkinz password, and by the time I got back, she had made it through. Just wondering what the song was. Thanks, Lynn

The first song she sand was "I Surrender" by Celine Dion. When she came back, she sang "Islands In The Stream". I'm kind of on the fence about her. I wonder what kind of range she'll have with a voice like that?
