I am wearing the greatest pair of pants ever sewn today. They're kind of hard to describe, so I'll put it like this--they look like an old man's golf pants. Yes, they're THAT awesome. The pattern is this great windowpane plaid in gray, taupe, and light blue. Richie will tell you that I have this proclivity toward kitschy, old man stuff. Mostly socks (I have this great brown pair with an orange and white plaid. Classic.), but I have owned this pair of suede Hush Puppies loafers, and now, these pants.
I can't even begin to tell y'all how much I love these pants. I feel like I should be standing on the front porch, shaking my fist at squirrels. "Get off my lawn!" I woke up in a good mood, but now these pants are the icing on the cake. I'm practically elated and delirious.
I didn't even buy these pants secondhand! They were brand-new, from the women's department at Belk in Mt. Pleasant. Madison Studio, Savannah fit. I tried to google it, but got nothing. All I know is that there's no gapping in the waist, they skim my hips and thighs, and they fall in just the right place on my shoes. I hope that when I'm down to my goal size, I'll be able to find more like them.
Maybe some in normal colors. I can't go golfing everyday, you know.
Toodles!
